List Etiquette

Please stick to the following 'rules' when posting or replying to messages on the GH3 email list:

Only post messages of interest to the whole pack
Only ask questions to the whole pack if you don't know anyone specific who can answer it
Send your reply to the sender only! We are not interested in everyone's opinion on each other and everything under the sun
Although it is a Hash-List, a lot of people use company e-mail to read it, so please keep that in mind for choice of language.
No Flames, chain-letters, or Spam whatever the cause! If you want to take issue with someone do it in person or offline!

When forwarding messages, properly format them. A lot of e-mail programs by default prefix the forwarded text with characters like > or |.
Remove these characters. It makes the message easier to read
Do not forward a private message or attachment without permission
Be concise and to the point
Answer swiftly
Do not attach unnecessary files
DO NOT WRITE IN CAPITALS
Do not overuse Reply to All
For mass mailings use the bcc: field
Do not request delivery and read receipts

subscribe gh3 youremailaddress

To remove: email majordomo@employees.org with the following in the body of the message:

unsubscribe gh3 youremailaddress

Send an email to gh3@employees.org with appropriate text.
